Adrian is a software engineer and data analyst for Agfirst Hawkes Bay.

He develops, maintains and administrates the OrchardNet web site, orchardnet.co.nz, which is an online database that provides live business updates from the orchard. The updates can be shared with manAgricultureers, consultants, pack houses and exporters instantaneously.

The OrchardNet database contains a wealth of historical data on productivity, fruit sizing, nutrition, and many other metrics. It uses technology that can track history, provide benchmarks and forecast performance.  In addition to being a powerful tool for the grower it is also vital in assisting consultants with many projects including the national crop estimates for both New Zealand and Australia.
