Chelsea has grown up in the Manawatu region with her family who are heavily involved in the dairy sector. This enabled her to be around people of similar values and aspirations and has helped develop her knowledge of the industry.
Chelsea studied a Bachelor of Agribusiness majoring in Farm Management at Massey University from 2019-2021. She did an internship with Agfirst in 2021 giving her the ability to extend herself and apply knowledge from her degree in a practical way.
Her proudest achievements at university include top Farm Management student and second top Agricultural student in 2021. During university she took the opportunity to be involved in various sectors and disciplines through internships and practical work. Work experience has included Agronomy at Woodhaven Gardens and a sales assistant at Farm Source.
