Dave has been involved in the dairy industry extension and consultancy since graduating from Massey in 1987. In his previous position of General Manager of Field Extension with Dairy NZ he was responsible for dairy industry extension through a team of 30, as well as:

       
• Development and implementation of the industry Extension Strategy
       
• Member of the Senior Managementt Team at Dairy NZ
       
• Coordinated Dairy NZ input and support of the Ahuwhenua Awards.

He brings to Agfirst experience in farm business and farm systems, together with a solid understanding of on-farm environmental challenges and issues.His current work includes:
