With a background as a Registered Rural Valuer, Dean brings a wealth of experience in rural banking having worked for many rural banks. His deep knowledge of dairying and agriculture led him to Fonterra in 2017, where he served as Area Manager for Coastal Taranaki.

In 2023, Dean transitioned into the building and construction industry and joined our AgFirst Engineering team in January 2024. Based in Taranaki, he now specialises in water and dairy effluent management, providing expert technical advice and tailored solutions to help dairy farmers transition their effluent systems to land-only discharge. His expertise ensures farmers meet regulatory requirements while optimizing their operations.

Outside of work, Dean is an avid surfer, kitesurfer, skier, and mountain biker with a passion for the outdoors. He is highly regarded for his relationship and project management skills, delivering high-quality effluent infrastructure solutions that help farmers achieve their goals.
