Jack joined the Agfirst team as a Horticultural Consultant, specialising in precision Horticulture, new canopy performance, research and development as well as the day to day orcharding operations. He holds a BSc in AgriScience as well as a Master of Science majoring in Horticulture from Massey University.
Jack's Masters thesis was focused on the Future Orchard Production System (FOPS) which has given him a keen interest in R&D and the performance of different production systems.
While growing up on an orchard, Jack has gained extensive practical experience working with both apples and kiwifruit as well as completing a number of internships in the science world with Plant and Food Research.
Jack is looking forward to meeting and working with local growers to help achieve excellence in their growing practices.
