Jardine is originally from the Far North where she grew up on a small avocado orchard. At 16, her family relocated to the Rangitikei where they purchased a dairy farm. She has always had a passion for the natural environment and how we interact it.
This led her to the University of Otago where she studied a Bachelor of Science majoring in Physical Geography and Zoology.
Her passion for the environment led her overseas where she worked with the Hawaiian Institute of Marine Biology as part of the Community Education Program.
In 2016 she returned to the University of Otago where she completed a Master of Applied Science in Environmental Management. Following this Jardine has worked for Ravensdown as an Agri-Manager and as an Environmental Protection Officer for the Marlborough District Council.
Jardine enjoys working with the farmers and the wider rural community to help them reach their environmental goals and helping them understand about how their actions effect the natural environment.
