Monica is an enthusiastic agribusiness consultant whose roots run deep in farming. Raised on her family’s sheep and beef farm in Matawai, she developed a key understanding of agriculture from an early age.

Recently graduating from Lincoln University with a Bachelor of Commerce (Agriculture), Monica joined the AgFirst Gisborne team at the end of 2024.

Her passion lies in farm business development, GIS mapping, AI applications in agribusiness, and on-farm development. She’s particularly driven by the challenge of integrating sustainable practices to optimize both productivity and financial success.
