Nick grew up on a Gisborne cropping farm. He joined Agfirst Engineering in 2004. He left in 2013 to pursue a professional rugby refereeing career in both international 7s and 15s, while still working part time as a water engineer. Nick rejoined Agfirst Engineering in 2020 and became a director in 2023 and leads the BOP team.

Nick has built extensive experience over 20 years as a water engineer, particularly with water schemes, dairy effluent, stock water and land drainage. He is a solutions focussed innovator and problem solver, always striving to find a better way and deliver the best possible outcome for our customers.
