Peter has been working in the Agribusiness sector in the Central North Island since 1984, initially based in the King Country and since 1989 in Rotorua. During this time he has continued to work directly with farmers and growers as well as developing a strong association with the wider Agribusiness sector.

As a founding Director of AgFirst in 1995 Peter maintains a level of business experience that has given him a solid understanding of the issues and opportunities the sector faces. Such a wide range of experience and skills is considered as advantageous when Peter is helping support business growth and development for both Drystock and dairy clients.

Peter helps AgFirst maintain and support a large Maori Agribusiness client base, having worked directly with over 35 Maori Trusts and Incorporations since 1992. Peter believes one of the key roles of being a successful Agribusiness Consultant is in taking a leadership role as part of the ‘interface between Science and Business’, whilst ensuring Landcare and Environmental Management are maintained at a level fit to meet the needs of the next generation.
