A massive congrats to consultant Louis Batley who together with his team took out the IFAMA Young Professionals Case Study competition.

The case study was in a company called shared-x which essentially helps smallholder farmers in Peru sell their produce and informs them around regenerative agricultural practices.

The first round was a simple strategy for them and the second round was around trying to better capture value through ESG metrics whilst investing, which supplementary information was provided for.

The IFAMA (International food and agribusiness management association) conference was held in Costa Rica and will be held in New Zealand next year.
